Launchy on Linux
While I have been (and still am) a big GNOME-Do fan, I just found that Launchy runs on Linux now. And it works just the same! This post describes how to get it installed on Ubuntu (too bad it isn’t in the repos yet, but it is an easy install nonetheless). The look, feel, and features are basically identical to the Windows version, which is pretty nice for those of us that have to live separate OS lives. And I wasn’t using the Linux-specific features of GNOME-Do yet, so I am not missing anything. Give it a try!
